Building on this vision, the Biomedical Engineering Department at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University has launched the National Summit for Biomedical Engineering. This initiative aims to empower and support innovators and inventors in the field of biomedical engineering by creating a platform that connects students, researchers, academics, and startups with investors, companies, prestigious hospitals, and relevant organizations. The goal is to foster innovations and facilitate their transformation into tangible products that contribute to the Kingdom's economy and help achieve Vision 2030 in the field of biotechnology. This effort also seeks to elevate the nation’s standing among industrialized countries, leveraging all available resources to launch various innovative projects, positioning our beloved Kingdom as a leading and exceptional destination in the fields of innovation, technology, and healthcare.

The second edition of the National Summit for Biomedical Engineering was held under the theme: "Where Innovation Thrives." In this edition, the Biomedical Engineering Department at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University proudly launched the Innovation Exhibition Competition, where students and researchers in biomedical engineering and technologies from universities across the Kingdom competed. The department also takes pride in creating an environment that facilitates connections between experts in innovation, business, and healthcare with the participating students and researchers. This support and guidance aim to enable the transformation of their innovations and research into products that serve the healthcare sector and achieve its objectives.
