Aligned with the theme of localizing Biotechnology in Saudi Arabia, the NBES 2025 Poster Competition is a unique opportunity for students and fresh graduate researchers to present their innovations and research in the field of biomedical engineering.

This competition highlights the creativity and scientific potential of the next generation. Participants are encouraged to present their research on a wide range of topics, including medical devices, diagnostics, bioinformatics, tissue engineering, healthcare innovations, and other areas related to biomedical engineering.

Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate and postgraduate students currently enrolled in biomedical engineeringor related programs.
Fresh graduates.
Individuals or teams are eligible to apply.
All work must be the original effort of the applicants.

How to Apply?
The application process is straightforward. Applicants are required to complete the online application form, which will request the following information:
Personal and academic information.
Project title and abstract (max 250 words).
In group projects, only one of the members is required to submit the application form.

Judging Panel
Poster presentations will be evaluated by our distinguished panel of experts and professionals from our university and partnering universities. The evaluation will be based on the scientific quality, practicality, and potential impact.

Additional Information

Final poster format guidelines will be shared with accepted participants prior to the event.
All presenters must be available during the poster session at the IAU small lobby to present their work to the judging committee.
Judging will take place in two rounds on the day of the summit. In each round, participants will deliver a 3-minute oral presentation, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session with the judging panel.
If you live outside Dammam, you are responsible for arranging and covering your travel expenses. Failure to confirm attendance in advance may result in termination from the competition.
